A ring with history. An original with character.

In 2007, Alexander Deubelbeiss – himself an infantry officer – designed this crest ring for his fellow officers: the distinctive shield shape, the signet featuring a dagger on a checkered background, framed by the motto “Exemplo Ducemus” – We lead by example.

What began as one officer’s personal project became a tradition: for almost 20 years, this ring has accompanied the graduates of the Infantry Officer School – a lasting symbol of leadership, camaraderie, and pride in what has been achieved.

Since 2026, Swissbadge carries this legacy forward. The copyright and exploitation rights to the original design have been fully transferred from Alexander Deubelbeiss to Swissbadge GmbH. Every ring continues to be crafted according to the unchanged original design – with the quality that has distinguished this piece for nearly two decades.
